Phonics practice tests with QR codes. Simply scan with any smart device and practice. Used it in the classroom so children can easily upload the materials and practice. Also useful for parents evening as a handout, so children can practice at home.

This resource includes letter families for children to practise their formation, this is grouped by families and also single letters. I used it for interventions, homework and Literacy books for children who would mirror certain letters. It also has a power point with all the families and handwriting paper to model formation to children. I also added A3 mats for each letter family so children can practise three letters at a time, which proved very popular in my class.

Phonics screening revision booklet with lots of fun activities children can complete with an adult or independently. It includes 27 pages of word sorters, naming aliens, matching activities, speed sounds and many more. This is a great booklet which I have used many times for various purposes - interventions, during lessons, homework during holidays in order to practise applying sounds.

A simple character description based on the story ‘Where’s my teddy’

A word mat including all 100 high frequency words, tricky words from Phase 2,3,4 and 5 phonics, as well as all exception words for Year 1 children in alphabetical order. This is a great resource to give an overview of spelling expectation for the Year group. Also includes a say it, write it practice sheet.
